FACEBOOK NEW UPDATE

A couple of weeks, we have clarified our Terms of hope, in some parts of our users. These days, we received many questions and comments about the changes and what they mean, people and information. Based on this information, we decided to return to our previous terms of use, while the problems that address the people.

Many of us spent on Facebook, most of today's discussions on the best course of action. One approach would have been rapidly changing, the new terms with new language to clarify our positions further. Another approach is simply to return to our old terms while we begin working on the next version. When we think through this, we respect the organizations for their contribution.

For the future, we decided to adopt a new approach to developing our terms. We concluded that returning to our previous terms was the right thing for now. As I said yesterday, I think a lot of language in our terms is overly formal and protective clothing, so we will not leave it there for a long time.

Over 175 million people use Facebook. If you were a country, the sixth most populous country in the world would be. Our conditions are not just a document to protect our rights, is the document that governs how the service is used by all people around the world. Given the importance of ensuring that the terms reflect the principles and values of people who use the service.

Our next version will be a substantial revision from where we are now his. They reflect the principles I described yesterday around how people share and control their data and it is clearly written in plain language. Since this document, the direction we will all live, Facebook users have a wealth of information in the preparation of these conditions.

You have my commitment that we make all these things, but to do things take time. We hope to complete in the coming weeks. Meanwhile, we used the terms back to what existed before the February 4th change, which is what most people asked us, and it was the recommendation of outside experts we consulted changed.

If you wish to participate in the development of our new terms, you can post your questions, comments and requests in the group we created Facebook Bill of Rights and Responsibilities. I look forward to reading your comments.
